Rosie’s Travelling Tea Shop — Rebecca Raisin [REVIEW]

  • Read date: October 29, 2020
  • Rating: 4/5
  • E-ARC

I received a free advanced reader copy of Rosie’s Travelling Tea Shop from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review!

What. A. Delight!

When calculated, structured Rosie’s life on the upper crust of London’s culinary scene (pun intended) is turned on its head, she makes a snap decision and embarks on a completely new lifestyle. Say goodbye to small portions and fancy sauces, and make way for tea and comfort food — and on four wheels!

Rosie joins a community of lovable vagabonds who travel the countryside selling their wares and living quintessential nomadic lives, and Raisin’s novel perfectly depicts the exact romanticism we 9-to-5ers associate with that life. The descriptive language is colorful and so enjoyable, the cast of characters is endearingly quirky, readers will be overcome with wanderlust, and… I have to say…. I am officially an enemies-to-lovers convert.

Rosie’s Travelling Tea Shop is a satiating, delectable, and very quick read. A reader will know what she’ll get out of this one, but the journey is no less lovable because of it!

Raisin’s novel hits shelves February 16th, so keep your eyes peeled for this sweet treat!

Happy reading!
